Start is a Program Designed for Junior and Senior High
School Classes, as well as Pre-Natal Programs, and
Parent-Baby Groups.
The concept is purely "Early Intervention - Teaching Child
Development and Parenting Skills BEFORE students become
parents". This Program is based entirely on First
Nations and Native American Communities and Culture and was
Written and Produced by a Registered Speech Language
Pathologist. The Program includes a DVD filmed on a
Blackfoot Nation in Alberta. The content fits
perfectly into a Career and Life Mangagement Course, a
Parenting or Child Development Course for Option Credits.
